How Do I Link to a Category (Ruby)
This guide will show you how to generate a link o a specific category using the Ruby Interface
In order to generate a link to a specific category on Ruby, you must do more than just copy the link.
First, you will want to go to the Main and Sub Category that you want the link to go to. In this case Economics/Processes that Shaped the Earth. That will give you a link in your URL.
Simply copying that link will not work. What you have to do is add, at the very end of the link, "&AllowDirectLoad=1". Exactly as is.
When you add that to the link, then you can copy the entire link, including what you added.
Now you can paste that entire link anywhere and it will go straight to that category.
Shorten The Link
If you need to email or display the link, you might find it a bit long and ungainly. Use an URL shortener to change the link in to something tiny -
